I am originally from the UK and have now been living in Tokyo, Japan for 12years ( and counting ).
I am a professional photographer and I write for this site. When I arrived here, I loved vending machines, I thought everything was cute and all people are so lovely. I quickly realized that Japan is a very odd country with very weird things. I am not saying Japanese people are odd. But there are a lot of odd things that I want to explain to you to make your visit here easier, more enjoyable with less stress. Using a train tickets machine or using the toilet doesn’t ’ sound stressful…? It can be believe me !
