Top five annoying things about Japan (part 1)

While I love living in Japan, there are some things that annoy the heck out of me, and these short 5 articles will give you an insight into what annoys me the most.

Part 1 (wrong side of everything)

Okay, so I do not know if it is just me but walking, cycling, steps is the LEFT SIDE. Japanese don’t seem to get this and while many accidents are caused because of this, I decide to research it more.

So, it seems they use the right side of the road when cycling because they save a split second by not having to cross the road. Yes, this may seem beyond ridiculous, but it is true.

I literally bang my head into my fist as I cannot, will not accept how stupid this is. Sometimes they do it on purpose to get an apology out of you!?!?!?!?!? WHY the heck should I apologise for your stupidity???? I will tell you why…. Japanese people love to blame someone else for their mistake. Do not ask me why, I have no idea but WTF????

So, I will leave you with a prime example of what drives me insane. You will notice that the picture shows the wrong side, this makes me laugh as it is only the Keio line train stations that use the wrong way around, so really who do we blame? The train station? Sorry but when there are HUGE arrows showing you the right side to be or even small signs on EVERY STEP, there is no excuse.
